Doing our best! No electricity, no phone, no running water. The kids are having a blast playing in downed trees and running all over the place. We had to rig up a shower, that works fairly well if I say so. We realized the second day that our gnome was missing. He was found without a scratch. Life is good!

Yikes! You're going to have a lot of firewood next winter! I'm so glad that you and your family are okay though.
Lady - if you guys need to come and crash at our place you are SO welcome. I can't say it enough. We have showers and laundry and a stove and all that fun stuff - come over!!!! Either way, that mud hole looks super fun!

I'm hoping you have a fireplace and a firepit to use all of the wood you now have...

Glad everyone came out of the "storm" in one piece, including the gnome. It must have been a scarey time for everyone. Kids can make the best out of every situation! With some luck though you will have water and electricity back on soon and then you can get to work on creating a new dream garden.Hugs
